As Jimmy and Joey are relaxing before the race and shooting the breeze with the other contestants, they start to really worry about how well they’ll do.

They did not expect other people to have invested so much time, and what they assume must also be a lot of money, into a semi-truck race. But they figured different strokes for different folks.

This was something they initially thought to do as a gag race, just doing it for the sake of their hobby. They had no idea other people were so serious about racing semi-trucks, of all things.

Of course, Joey now was a little more invested, as this was his chance to show Jimmy up at racing.

They both began to think about how they would have to approach this race. They have no experience with vehicles this large, so they were entirely unsure of how the other contestants would act during the race. Would they would be super aggressive, pushing and crashing into each other, or would everyone be too afraid to do that?

Considering the relatively low speeds they were likely to hit, bumping each other probably wouldn’t cause something catastrophic and deadly, so they thought maybe people would be more inclined to do that to throw off their opponents.

There isn’t anything in the rules against this, after all. Most people just tend not to do it for the sake of the cosmetics of their vehicles and the potential for injuring someone or destroying the surrounding property.

In short, Jimmy and Joey were both really just clueless as to what to expect.
