Insurance commercials we see on TV: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and the sometimes they are not telling you the whole story!

(Insurance television commercials can be very expensive and add to the price you pay for your insurance, would you like an insurance quote from a company that does not spend a dime on advertising? Click here.)

Every single hour of the day, 24 hours per day, seven days per week we see commercials from the following car insurance companies:

Geico car insurance in Cincinnati, Progressive car insurance in Cincinnati, State Farm car insurance in Cincinnati, Allstate car insurance in Cincinnati, Nationwide car insurance in Cincinnati, 21st Century car insurance in Cincinnati (formerly AIG ), Travelers car insurance in Cincinnati, The General car insurance in Cincinnati, American Family car insurance in Cincinnati, Safe Auto car insurance in Cincinnati, Liberty Mutual car insurance in Cincinnati, AARP car insurance in Cincinnati

Most insurance companies in their television commercials will emphasize that they might be able to save you money on your car insurance. Some of the above mentioned companies will also tell you saving money by giving up certain insurance coverage to save money is a bad idea. (Allstate insurance mayhem commercials)

Other insurance companies tell you that their claim service is fast and convenient. And finally other companies compare their rates with other insurance companies subtly implying that if you’re with a certain company you’re probably getting overcharged.

Are any of these claims true?

As a true insurance “insider” I will be happy to give you my opinion as we examine the most popular commercials, is it fact, fiction or somewhere in between?

Each week we will analyze one different insurance commercial, are they Fact, Fiction or Somewhere In Between?

Would you like to buy your insurance without the catches, disclaimers, or fine print on the TV commercials that no one has time to read? (Or the magnifying glass to read that tiny fine print?)
