Pathway Check List

Pathway Coverage Checklist Will Help You Find The “Gaps” In Your Insurance Coverage

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

A survey revealed that more than half of the respondents did not have a complete understanding of what their insurance policies did not cover.

The Pathway Coverage Checklist will help you find the Gaps in your insurance coverage.  One client discovered a $100,000 coverage shortfall on his home insurance, another discovered a $300,000 gap on his umbrella policy, another found out that he was using his automobile in a way that would cause his car insurance company to refuse to pay any claims that he submitted!

Do you have “gaps” in your coverage?  The only way to know for sure is to review The Pathway Coverage Checklist.

The Pathway Coverage Checklist is available to all active policyholders of our company.  We are the only company in the United States that has developed such a comprehensive but easy to use tool to help you determine if you have the correct coverage on your personal car or homeowners insurance.

Our coverage checklist will take you step-by-step through a number of different situations or scenarios that are not usually explained or elaborated upon by insurance agents or company personnel when you buy insurance.

Insurance companies rely upon you reading your policy from cover to cover to understand what is, but most importantly what is not covered by insurance.  The basic problem with this expectation is that most consumers have never read their insurance policy. If a policyholder did take time to read their policy, would they completely understand it?  Insurance policies are in reality complex legal financial contracts written by attorneys.

Why You Need the Coverage Checklist?

Will help you determine if you are engaged in activities that could cause your insurance company to refuse to pay claims.

The Pathway Coverage Checklist explains a number of different scenarios whereby coverage will not apply, even if you think that it should. (We have identified more than 200 scenarios whereby claims can be legally refused to be covered by insurance companies.)

The Pathway Coverage Checklist will also help you to be able to determine what additional coverage may be needed based on your circumstances.

Finally, you will learn what are the minimum amounts of coverage you should purchase for your personal situation.

How do you get the Pathway Insurance Coverage Checklist?

How much is enough Liability Coverage?

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

How much liability coverage do you need in Cincinnati?

Unfortunately there is no universal “rule” that provides the mathematical calculation to determine your exact liability needs for car and home insurance.  The reason why this can’t be determined is because it is impossible to predict future claims you may become legally responsible for.

There are some commonsense rules that you should follow to protect your assets.  For instance it was reported that Mel Gibson was in an automobile accident.  Apparently it was a single car accident, but what if it wasn’t?  What if he seriously injured someone and was determined to be his fault?  If that is the case a significant amount of his financial assets could be up for grabs if he did not obtain sufficient insurance coverage.

Naturally most people do not have the asset base Mel Gibson possesses, but likely you do have assets to protect.  What are some common sense amounts of coverage that you should carry to protect you?

Review the following outline to determine the minimum amount of liability coverage you should carry:

The Pathway Coverage Checklist™

Monday, August 9th, 2010

Are you a client of Pathway Insurance?  Take time to review our coverage checklist.

The Pathway Coverage Checklist™ will help you to determine if you have potential gaps in your insurance coverage.

If you discover gaps in coverage or activities that are prohibited by insurance companies contract language, the result could be a claim denial by your insurance company.  We are the first company, and the first insurance agency to have developed such a comprehensive tool to help you better understand your insurance policies.

Keep in mind one important aspect of The Pathway Coverage Checklist™.  This coverage checklist is based upon information from a variety of different insurance companies underwriting requirements, and insuring agreements.

Each company has the right to modify and or change its insuring agreements.  So in other words Insurance Company A may have different underwriting and insuring agreements compared to Insurance Company B.  You can easily discover what your individual insurance companies insuring agreement is by reviewing your current policy.  (We will show you exactly where to find that information in your individual insurance policy.)

Insurance companies change their insuring agreements from time to time.  So review each renewal policy as they are sent to you.

As soon as possible please review your coverage checklist.  The Pathway Coverage Checklist™ is the very first step.  As a client of our agency you will receive vital follow-up correspondence that explains in simple terms the reason for the questions that we are asking, as well as discussing certain coverage scenarios that could occur to you. Finally we will talk about potential issues policyholders will face if they inadvertently violate a coverage term or condition in their insurance policy.

Are you ready to get started?  Please print for your records the following coverage checklists:
